Bloomington South gets big win, remains 4-A No. 1

Associated PressBloomington South jumped out to a 16-0 lead en route to a 80-48 shellacking of a solid Evansville Harrison squad Saturday, and maintained their top position in the AP Class 4-A boys’ basketball poll.

Class 4-A: 1. Bloomington South (7-0); 2. Indianapolis North Central (9-0); 3. Lawrence North (9-1); 4. Terre Haute South (9-1); 5. New Albany (6-0); 7. Anderson (5-0); 8. Franklin Central (9-1); Indianapolis Cathedral (5-1); 10. Warsaw (7-0).

Class 3-A: 1. Evansville Memorial 6-0; 2. Princeton (9-0); 3. Danville (8-1). 4. (tie) Fort Wayne Dwenger (3-1); 4. (tie) Rochester (6-1); 6. Washington (8-1); 7. Peru (7-1); 8. Southridge (6-1); 9. Batesville (4-2); 10. West Vigo (9-2).

Class 2-A: 1. Tipton (8-1); 2. Fort Wayne Luers (8-2); 3. Bluffton (9-1); 4. Lawrenceburg (5-0); 5. Oak Hill (8-1); 6. Heritage Christian (7-1); 7. Lapel (7-1); 8. Wapahani (7-1); 9. Forest Park (4-2); 10. Guerin Catholic (8-2).
