Team Southern Indiana 2014 fell in overtime 61-57 to the Focus, a Louisville-based 14 and under team, in this weekend’s Xtra Mile Fitness Classic at the Basketball Academy in Louisville, Ky. The Corydon Shootout, a gathering of Southern Indiana varsity and junior-varsity teams for round-robin play, begins this morning. Purdue and Xavier have topped Donnie Hale‘s list of potential college choices for a long while. But now the New Albany senior has a new school showing interest — Oklahoma State. Seymour’s Trimnell to visit South Alabama

Seymour senior Matt Trimnell will travel this weekend to Mobile, Ala., for an unofficial visit to South Alabama’s campus, his family said. The 6-foot-3 forward also will participate in the school’s “elite camp.” Trimnell, who averaged 18 points per game last season for the Owls, also has been invited to Western Kentucky’s camp in August.
