TSI Spring League: Huebner’s 30-point performance highlights week two

Team Southern Indiana Boys' High School Spring LeagueThe Team Southern Indiana Boys’ High School Spring League continued Sunday at Nolan Fieldhouse. Week two saw Northeast Dubois’ Blake Huebner explode for 30 points and the Bulldogs improve to 4-0 on the season.

Crusaders 68, Sycamores 41: Huebner poured in 30 points as the Crusaders cruised to victory. Andrew Johnson (Orleans) led the Sycamores in defeat with 12.

Bulldogs 55, Boilermakers 51: The Providence duo of Ryan Dixon and Jacob Wethington totaled 24 and 21 points to lead the Bulldogs. West Washington’s Clayton Sullivan scored 24 for the Boilermakers, and Eastern Pekin’s Philip Boudreaux finished with 16.

Cardinals 58, Hoosiers 53: Silver Creek’s Andrew Hoke netted 17 points and Rock Creek’s Keaton Garner added 13 in the Cardinal win. Anthony Dennis (Switzerland County) and Kendall Thompson (Charlestown) each scored 15 for the Hoosiers.

Irish 63, Aces 59: The Irish were led by Jennings County’s Dustin Lawson and Austin’s Dylan McIntosh, who finished with 19 and 17. Springs Valley’s Garrett Stout finished with 14 points and Clarksville’s Billy Edelen added 12 to pace the Aces in defeat.

Boilermakers 68, Crusaders 64: Boudreaux racked up 17 points and Silver Creek’s Zach Ricketts chipped in 15 for the Boilermakers. The Crusaders were led by Caleb Sprigler (Silver Creek) and Huebner, who scored 22 and 18 points, respectively.

Bulldogs 52, Sycamores 47: Dixon netted 18 points to lead the Bulldogs. Garrett Ellis led the Sycamores with 17.

Irish 55, Hoosiers 51: Lawson scored 21 points and New Albany’s Landon Howard added 11 to push the Irish to their first win. Tim Hall (Charlestown) led the Hoosiers in the loss with 21.

Aces 76, Cardinals 50: Edelen scored 22 and Henryville’s Hunter Pyke added 15, and the Aces upended the Cardinals. The Cardinals were paced by Hoke’s 21.
