Sunday Fall League: Girls’ High School Division – Week 4

Week four scores and highlights from the HoosierHillsHoops.com Sunday Fall League Girls’ High School Division at Nolan Fieldhouse:

Mercury 36, Sparks 26: Silver Creek teammates Emily Clayton and Carissa Brown finished with 10 and nine points, respectively, to help the Mercury upend the Sparks. Taylor Frederick and Heather Uhl, both of Corydon, scored 11 and 10 points in the loss for the Sparks.

Storm 45, Fever 25: Medora’s Ashley Lambert netted 12 points and Scottsburg’s Kelsey Smith chipped in nine as the Storm crushed the Fever. Corydon’s Marie Rothrock and Southwestern’s Brandi Ponder scored six points a piece.

Stars 40, Dream 33: South Central’s Shelby Miller totaled 17 points as the Stars got past the Dream. Jennings County’s Summer Sanders paced the Dream in defeat with 13.

Sparks 46, Storm 29: Corydon’s Aly Chambers led a balanced attack, helping the Sparks blow past the Storm. Lamber paced the Storm in defeat with 10.

Dream 44, Mercury 40: Jennings County’s Ashley Vogel scored 12 points and Borden’s Abigail Ellis contributed nine, and the Dream edged the Mercury. Brown and Clayton paced the Mercury in defeat with 13 and eight points, respectively.

Fever 45, Stars 42: Rothrock finished with 13 and Madison’s Kelsey Block chipped in eight, leading the Fever over the Stars. Shelby Miller and Kelsey Miller, both of South Central, added 11 and 10 points, and Brownstown’s Ally Warren went for 10 in the loss.
