Juniors score sudden-death victory over Indiana All-Stars at Kokomo

Indiana All-StarsWashington’s Cody Zeller poured in 25 points and grabbed 21 points, Warsaw’s Nic Moore chipped in 18 and New Albany’s Chris Whitehead 14, but the Indiana All-Stars fell 104-102 tonight at Kokomo to the Junior All-Stars in double overtime.

Yogi Ferrell, a junior guard from Indianapolis Park Tudor, netted a baseline jump shot in the second overtime period, which was a sudden-death, first-to-score situation. Ferrell, an Indiana University recruit, scored 16 points for the Junior stars

Kokomo’s D.J. Balentine finished with a team-high 18 for the Juniors.

The Indiana All-Stars, which edged the Juniors team 117-114 Monday at Washington, will face the Kentucky All-Stars twice this weekend — Friday at Bellarmine University in Louisville and Saturday at Conseco Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.
