100th boys basketball state tournament pairings announced

For the 100th time, Indiana high school boys basketball teams were placed into sectional brackets this evening revealing the road to a state championship. Tonight’s blind drawing took place in the same place it will end Mar. 27 — Conseco Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.

Six Southern Indiana players selected as McDonald’s All American Game nominees

Six local players have been nominated for the 2010 McDonald’s All American Game, game officials announced today.
Julian Boatner (Bloomington North), Kegan Clark (Jeffersonville), Erik Fromm (Bloomington South), Donnie Hale (New Albany), Trey Hughes (Barr-Reeve) and Taylor Wischmeier (Brownstown) were included in the list of 30 Indiana nominees.

HoosierHillsHoops.com has learned that tonight’s Jeffersonville at New Albany boys’ game has been postponed due to inclimate weather, a school official confirmed.
New Albany’s home game Saturday night versus Evansville Reitz has been postponed, too.
Make up dates were not immediately available.
