Great honor for the Highlanders. They open with Bloomington South, while Oak Hill plays New Castle. The games are to be played on December 30

I don't know if FC has been in the classic before, but this is South's sixth appearance in the HOF Classic. They won the title in 1998, and were last there in 2010 when they beat Warsaw, but lost to Center Grove in double overtime for the title. South lost to FC this past season at South by a score of 53-50. Both teams are expected to have solid squads next season. They will be playing in the second game of the day with New Castle and Oak Hill playing in the first game.

Pretty sure Floyd's last appearance was in 1985-86, Pat Graham's freshman year. Hinton had maybe four starters back from a semistate team the previous year and were expected to battle it out with Southridge to be southern Indiana's representative to the Final Four that year.

Pretty sure that Austin won the Seymour regional in 84-85 season. Floyd did play the morning session of the 85-86 Terre-Haute Semi State against Southridge in defeat.
