As everyone should know by now the LADYCATS came up just ALITTLE short of Winning The Schools 1st Athletic sports state championship, the girls played their hearts out and left it all on the court against maybe the best team in the state in any class( especially if their pg would have got to play the whole season) , this North team went threw tons of adversity in the journey to the state championship game( 1 starter and key reserve got hurt, then another starter got hurt in championship game but came back and played hurt in 2nd half) but I'm not here to make excuses because this team nor the coaching staff made excuse they just played the next player up card, .... This team has a lot of their top players coming back next yr and with only losing 2 srs on this team they COULD get back to state again , but the 2 srs wasn't the (so called) top players on the team but they was great captains and really good role models of how u lead a young but very talent team , McAfee was ur 5'10 so call stretch 3 player, at times she would get u 16 pts in a game or 16 rebounds, the way this young girl got better for each yr is a credit to her and the coaching staff, then u had Burson(3A Mental Attitude Winner)she was ur 5'9 tough as nail player that every coach wished they had a whole team of, she was what I called the ' silent assassin' she would get her 10-20 pts and most fans didn't realize it, she was never afraid to take in the paint against girls who was taller, .... These 2 sr was class acts and good basketball players(with basketball not being their best/ favorite sport) on the court and ever better young ladies in the class room and in the community . ..

I also want to congratulate the coaches, to accomplished what they did with the adversity of what was thrown at them, its a testament of how lucky North is to have such a really good Coaching staff...

This North Harrison LADYCATS team has brought this community back together to where it once was and it was really great to see.....
