Kentuckiana Summer Basketball League

Kentuckiana Summer Basketball League
New Albany High School (in Southern Indiana) and Waggener High School (in Louisville) will serve as the anchor hosts of the fifth-annual Kentuckiana Summer Basketball League in June 2018. The KSBL included 300-plus games in the summer of 2017, featuring 96 teams from 39 different schools.

The KSBL schedules games for boys’ varsity, JV, C and freshmen teams at the high school level. It also includes four dates for boys’ middle school games, including fifth, sixth, seventh and eighth grade teams.

Teams can request to play as many or as few games as preferred. The field typically has included a variety of Southern Indiana and Louisville-area schools that participate on a regular basis, along with a handful of out-of-area teams who travel in for less-frequent play.

DESIGN YOUR SCHEDULE: Play as many or as few games as you would like. Coaches have the ability to choose the dates, number of games and levels that play.

3-PERSON REFEREE CREWS: We employ quality officials and use three-person crews for varsity contests.

PLAY DIFFERENT COMPETITION: Utilizing schools on both sides of the river, we’re able to mix competition so teams get to play new and different competition. If you play multiple dates, we strongly encourage you to play on both sides of the river to increase the likelihood of unique opponents.

PLAY LIKE-SIZED OPPONENTS: We will schedule your team(s) versus like-opponents (school size, competition level, etc.) as often as possible.

QUALITY GYMS, AIR-CONDITIONING: Air-conditioning is available at all locations, with the exception of one court at Waggener.

NO TOLLS!: If you’re traveling from Louisville to New Albany, all gyms are located off Interstate 64 and the Sherman Minton Bridge, which doesn’t charge a toll.
