Kentuckiana Summer Basketball League

New Albany High School (in Southern Indiana) and Waggener High School (in Louisville) will host the fourth-annual Kentuckiana Summer Basketball League in June 2017.

The KSBL offers divisions for boys’ school-based teams at the high school varsity, junior varsity, freshmen and middle school levels. Teams can request to play as many or few games as preferred. The field typically includes a variety of Southern Indiana and Louisville-area teams that play often, along with a handful of out-of-area teams who travel in for less frequent play.

New in 2017: In conjunction with Team Southern Indiana, the KSBL will now offer weeknight games for boys’ AAU/travel teams, primarily at the 13-and-under/eighth-grade-to-be level and below.

LEAGUE HIGHLIGHTS

— Play as many of as few games as you would like. Coaches have the ability (within reason) to choose the nights, number of games and levels that play.

— We employ quality officials and use three-person crews for varsity contests unlike most other summer games.

— Utilizing schools on both sides of the river, we’re able to mix competition so teams get to play new and different competition. Last summer, we avoided all games between conference and sectional opponents (in Indiana) and district and regional opponents (in Kentucky).

— We will schedule you versus like opponents (school size, competition level, etc.) as often as possible.

— Air conditioning is available at all locations, with the exception of one court at Waggener.
