TORNADO RELIEF: A Night of Hoops and Hope for Southern Indiana, presented by Your Community Bank

March 6, 2012

To help the victims of the recent tornado disaster in Clark and Washington counties, a basketball-oriented fundraiser — A Night of Hoops and Hope for Southern Indiana — is being planned with complete details expected to be announced this weekend.

Borden coach Doc Nash, whose team will play in the Class 1-A Loogootee Regional Saturday, said he was flattered when asked to take part in the event. “As coaches, we feel obligated to take part and do whatever we can do to help,” Nash said. “More importantly, it’s the right thing to do.”
