Late run lifts No. 22 Rams past Nevada, Coleman

FORT COLLINS, Colo. — No. 22 Colorado State broke a 63-63 deadlock with Nevada and went on a game-ending 14-3 run for a 77-66 Mountain West Conference win Tuesday at Moby Arena.

Former Jeffersonville standout Tre Coleman, a Nevada sophomore, made his only field goal attempt and finished with three points. He also had two rebounds in the defeat.

The Wolf Pack (9-8, 3-3) were led by 23 points from senior guard Desmond Cambridge. The Rams (16-1, 6-1 MWC) got 34 points combined from its junior stars David Roddy and Isaiah Stevens. Roddy had a team-best 18 points to go along with eight rebounds, six assists and two steals and Stevens contributed 16 points and five boards to the victory.

Coleman and the Wolf Pack host Utah State (10-9, 1-5), which has lost its last four games, on Saturday at 10 p.m. That contest will be televised on CBS Sports Network.
