BOYS’ PERFORMANCE OF THE WEEK | Dunn leads CAI past Northeast Dubois

March 1, 2022

By GREG MENGELT

Christian Academy closed its regular season with a 58-53 overtime win over Northeast Dubois on Friday and senior Brady Dunn was the catalyst.

Dunn scored 37 of the Warriors’ 58 points and also had 15 rebounds, three assists and four steals as CAI improved to 10-13 heading to this week’s sectional in the Hoosier Hills Hoops Boys’ Performance of the Week. He also banked in a 30-footer at the buzzer to send the game into overtime.

Dunn and the Warriors will try to avenge an earlier 59-55 loss and a defeat in last year’s sectional championship when they battle Lanesville in Tuesday’s opening round at Borden.
