DELAND, Fla. — Senior guards CJ Fleming and Juston Betz combined for 40 points as Bellarmine earned a 72-47 conference victory Thursday at Stetson.

Fleming had a game-high 21 points and Betz finished with 19 points, six rebounds and four assists as the Knights won for the sixth time in their last seven games. After a 2-8 start to the season, Bellarmine has won 10 of its last 13 contests.

Betz went 9 for 10 from the field and Fleming was 9 for 12. Senior guard Dylan Penn added 13 points, four rebounds and three assists for the Knights, who shot 57.4 percent (31 of 54) for the contest.

Stetson was led by 13 points from sophomore guard Chase Johnston. The Hatters have lost four of their last five to fall to 8-12.

The Knights will stay in Florida for a contest at Florida Gulf Coast on Saturday. The game is scheduled for 7 p.m. and can be seen on ESPN Plus.
